Tomorrow, on 24 April, in the premises of PR Centre (Josipa Broza Tita Street 23/A), starting at 11:00h, Human Rights Action will organize the presentation of the report „Monitoring of Journalistic Self-Regulatory Bodies in Montenegro“, which is based on the monitoring of journalistic self-regulatory bodies in Montenegro from September 2012 to March 2013.

The author of the report is Mr. Dragoljub Duško Vuković, and the editor is Ms. Tea Gorjanc Prelević.

This is the first report of the project “Monitoring of Journalistic Self-Regulatory Bodies in Montenegro”, that Human Rights Action has been conducting from September 2012, with the support of the British Embassy in Podgorica. The aim of the project is to support journalists and media self-regulatory bodies in Montenegro in objective and uniform application of the Code of Montenegrin Journalists and thus protect human rights. Within the same project, all self-regulatory bodies, as well as editorial boards of media outlets in Montenegro have been receiving bulletins on the practice of the European Court of Human Rights on freedom of expression and protection of privacy.
