05/11/20141/11/2014 – REGARDING THE BEGINNING OF PROJECT “SUPPORT FOR UNDERSTANDING JOURNALISTIC ETHICS AND FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION”
Human Rights Action (HRA), will be implementing project „Support for Understanding Journalistic Ethics and Freedom of Expression“, with the support of the US Embassy in Podgorica, from 1 November 2014 until the end of August 2015.
The project will enable:
- Development and maintenance of a webpage for journalists and others who would be able to post questions in regard to journalistic ethics and freedom of expression and receive answers from experts. Webpage savjeti.hraction.org will be applicable from 1 November 2014!
- Dissemination of weekly emails (through a list-serve) containing summary on questions posed by journalists and answers given by experts ;
- Continuation of publication monthly bulletins on the case law of the European Court of Human Rights containing monthly overview of judgments regarding freedom of expression, as well as thematic issues on, for example, access to information, publication of confidential material, use of surveillance footage, hate speech, defamation, insult, etc. If you consider some topic of special interest for freedom of expression and Montenegro, you are welcome to suggest it!
HRA invites all those interested in receiving weekly summaries and monthly bulletins to sign up for the e-mail list of the project, for which the only condition is sending a requests to hra@t-com.me.
